I’m interested in your college counseling/other related services. What should I do?
For any student or family with an interest in our services, you can fill in a quick sign-up form here to leave your contact info. You may add additional details in the message box of the form. IvyBoost would then reach out to you shortly after to understand how we could best meet your need and set up an introductory initial meeting with a counselor if necessary.

How are your services offered?
IvyBoost’s college counseling and all other services are currently offered through one-to-one online meetings. We do not offer any in-person services at this time.
What’s the difference between the College Planning and College Application service?
College Planning provides planning to prepare for college admissions for students in junior high to grade 11. College Application is generally for students in grade 12 who are applying to college for the first time, and college application counseling starts in the summer before the school year to optimize time for working on the applications. Transfer Applications and Graduate Applications are also counseling services that are available.
What is the cost of the College Planning or College Application service?
After completing the sign-up form here, a free initial meeting would be arranged for the student and a parent with a counselor to introduce the service. The cost of the college counseling packages would also be covered in detail at that time. You can also check our page here about current promotions.
Is there a discount for services for siblings?
Yes. We do offer a 10% sibling discount on services.
Can we start counseling services in the middle of an academic school year?
Customers can start in the middle of an academic year. They may join the annual planning program for a natural calendar year following the agreement signing date, or the overall package with pro-rated cost based on actual length of time for our services.
How does billing and payment work? What is the payment schedule?
Depending on the counseling service chosen by a student, the family will be sent a detailed invoice on the required payment and payment methods. After the family fulfills the total payment for the invoice, then the service can begin. There is no monthly payment or payment installments option.
Do you offer a service that only focuses on the college application essays?
Yes. Please see our EssayNarwhal page here for more info.
Do you work with high school students who are out-of-state or international students?
Yes. We have worked with out-of-state and international students previously in the past.
What kinds of students have you worked with in the past?
