Summary: As college admissions have become increasingly more competitive since the pandemic, what should students be doing towards their college dreams? College counseling can help them tackle their many questions (what major? what activities should I be doing?) and find their own path on their journey to college!

Summary: With so many college applicants unfamiliar with how to write about themselves, see how an experienced essay mentor can alleviate stress and navigate students through the many pitfalls of the college essay process to write unique and compelling essays.

Counselor Jennifer
Jennifer has over 15 years of experience counseling high school and college students. She holds a Master in Higher Education Administration from the University of Tennessee and is a certified college admissions counselor. She has successfully mentored IvyBoost students to matriculate to highly selective colleges including the Ivy League schools and top UCs with different career interests and majors.
Essay Mentor Albert
Albert has a MFA in screenwriting from Loyola Marymount. Albert’s specialty in the application process is to help students on their essays. Just as he has created compelling characters in the thousands of hours in his own writing, Albert uses a similar model to teach students how to make their college essays packed with interest and drama.
Webinar Host Michelle
Michelle has used her previous experience as a student of Mission San Jose and as a college transfer herself to guide students through the complex steps of freshmen and transfer college applications. She finds it inspiring when students discover their voice through their writing in her essay mentoring. Michelle graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in English.
