Why is a Photo ID Important for the SAT?
If you are taking the November SAT this Saturday, do you know what you need to pack for the SAT? If you don’t know, make sure to read up on the College Board’s SAT Checklist.
One of the required items students need to bring with them to the test center is their photo ID.
What kinds of photo ID are accepted?
Most students usually bring one of the following:
- Driver’s license
- Student’s Current School ID
What should I check about my photo ID?
- The name on your ID and the SAT Admission ticket must match
- The appearance of your photo should be recognizable as you
What do I need to do with my photo ID after entering the test center?
- Keep your photo ID and your Admission Ticket with you the ENTIRE TIME, even on a break
- You might need it to sign in and out of places when you are taking the test
Remember, if you don’t have your photo ID, you cannot pull an Obi-Wan and simply waltz into the test center to take the SAT. Check that you have the proper ID and other materials you need before test day.
